Hello! We are Kevon, Candy, Mark, James, Ben Ward and Larry Guess. We own and operate ranch 55 miles west of the Ft. Worth in Lipan, TX consisting of fullblood and percentage Boer goats along with commercial angus cattle and coastal hay production. We offer Boer Goats for Sale in Texas.

In 1995 we added Boer goats to our ranch to manage brush and increase profitability. What started out to be browse control has flourished into an adventure. Our goats are raised on natural pastureland and supplemented when needed. We started our herd with 2 Boer bucks, 60 Spanish nannies and 2 guard dogs. The following year we purchased 60 more nannies and another guard dog. We would always purchase our bucks from reputable breeders, Birds Quality Boers, Powell Holman, Don Smith, Downen, Sisters II and Schwartz.

We started producing percentage Boer goats for our boys to be able to show in the county show. We now own 120 head of 75% or greater Boer does, 3 guard dogs and a Llama named Figgy. Show wethers is our first priority and has been a positive experience with our boys and other young people. Our goal is to improve our herd every year by selecting quality does for breeding and by bringing in quality outside genetics through our sires.

Raising goats has been very challenging. Our boys provide the manual labor for our ranch, allowing us to be successful. Mark is 19, James is 16 and Ben is 11 years of age. They are the fourth generation to grow up in the ranching lifestyle. They have been involved in exhibiting our show wethers and have had blue ribbon winners in our local county show. Other youth have been successful in competition as well with the show wethers from our herd. In 1997 our ranch won the Hood County Breeders award. We continued the tradition of winning the Breeders award for several years consecutively.

Our percentage does have been purchased by local breeders as well as out of state by word of mouth advertising. We have begun to develop a group of full blood Boer goat does and will market full bloods in the future.
